Urine Transfer Devices
There ar many commercially ready excreta transfer sets that offer for convenient and healthful
urine sample transfer from the gathering cup to vacuum tubes designed for excreta storage.
1. The ‘urine transfer straw’ – a non-sterile plastic tube and holder. The holder contains a
needle that allows a closed-system of transferring the excreta directly from the gathering cup
into one or a lot of vacuum tubes designed to preserve the excreta sample.
2. The ‘collection cup with integrated transfer port’ – a regular sterile excreta assortment cup
